Berlin International Air Show (ILA 2010)

June 8-13, 2010 Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport

Be where your customers are. Europe’s markets are primarily located on the continent. This is where most of Europe’s aerospace customers expect to see you. And perhaps most importantly, this is where you will find most of Europe’s decision-makers—decision–makers from industry, as well as the public and military sectors. If Europe is your marketing target, then the Berlin International Air Show (ILA 2010) will be your premiere trade show.

Aerospace Trade Show for all of Europe

Unlike any other, ILA provides superb access to the European Union as well as
to those fast growing economies in Central and Eastern Europe.

Largest Domestic Market

Based in Europe’s largest aerospace market – Germany, ILA is an attractive platform for North American companies -- even in difficult times.

Forum for Defense and Security

ILA has become the meeting place of choice for the defense industry and military procurement decision-makers.

Largest Space Segment

No other aerospace show has a larger and more vigorous exhibition and conference program dedicated entirely to Space.

Forum for Suppliers

ILA offers the finest international supplier networking platform with its highly successful 3-day International Suppliers Center. (June 8 -10, 2010) The consolidated German armed forces procurement office (BWB) is eager to discuss opportunities with North American suppliers.

“Path to Innovation”

At no additional cost to exhibitors, ILA 2010 encourages companies with innovative processes, products, and services to exhibit them as part of the
“Path to Innovation.” With more than 4,000 members of the media again expected in 2010, ILA provides a near ideal platform for international exposure.

Largest and Varied Conference Program

With more than 100 conferences, ILA not only has the largest conference program of any aerospace trade show, it is the most varied with sessions on current events, eco-efficient flying, financing, spaceflight, defense and security, UAV applications, flight training, and much, much more.

Forum for Aerospace Policy

The Berlin Air Show is the premiere venue for international dialog with elected and public administrators particularly on issues of defense, security, space flight, the economy, R & D, and many other critical aerospace issues.

Largest Display of Aircraft

With more than 300 aircraft on the ground and in the air,
the Berlin Air Show is the largest exhibition of aircraft and helicopters of any aerospace show.

A note on the economy: While every region of the world has been adversely impacted by the economic downturn, Europe, in general, has taken less of a blow than that experienced by North America. Credible sources in Europe are predicting that the Euro, in relation to North American currencies, will increase in value over the next twelve to eighteen months. Estimates suggest that the Euro will likely increase in value to $1.40, $1.50 and perhaps even higher versus the U.S. dollar. Any trend toward a strengthening Euro will continue to improve export opportunities for North American companies. Many European OEMs, anticipating a higher value Euro, are seeking increased opportunities in North America for out-sourcing, increased purchases of parts and services and in some cases, the acquisition of suppliers companies.
